Ocean cruising is one of the great holiday and vacation opportunities of our time. Cruising is a holiday within a vacation. Even while en route to our exotic destination we can enjoy a "night out" every night. On modern cruise ships every day can be an adventure in entertainment. Or we can simply relax all day.

The new generation of super cruise ships have been designed with enough options to keep the most active holiday makers busy. Cruise ships now include dining that ranges from formal restaurants to open air snack shops.

Activities include health and beauty spas, open air parks, music for all generations, fitness salons, children's activities and culture classes.

Cruise Ships

Cruise vacations are more about cruise ships than cruise destinations. So learning as much as you can about an individual cruise ship is the best way to determine whether that vessel is best for you.

Cruise ships are getting bigger and better. With the exception of port berthing, bigger may well be better. Cruise Ports

You may be having so much fun aboard that you don't want to go ashore. That's okay, but think of the different cultural and entertainment experience waiting for you at the end of the gangway. Ports of call are generally a mix of uncommon sights and sounds. Avoid the hawkers is you just want to see the sights.

Travel Destinations

Do you travel for the journey or for the destination? Why not do both? Many top travel destination are nearby cruise ports. If you have enough time, consider taking a one-way cruise to a destination.. Experience your destination ashore then take a one-way cruise return.
